Men can be defined by the shoes that they are wearing, particularly the black loafers that they are sporting. Just as anything under the sun, the kind of shoes that that a man will choose will depend on his character and behavior. Black loafers come in different shapes, sizes and styles. Simplicity and comfort are the keywords for this kind of shoes, which is the reason for its timeless charisma to young and old alike.

 

The guy who is always on the go usually picks out the slip-on type of loafer. From the name itself, there is no need to muster any effort for wearing this shoe. The wearer does not even need to use his hands to wear these and he is good to go in no time. The slip-ons are actually casual by nature. They may include styles with a metal link across the middle, those with fixed tassels or those with monkstrap which is basically close by a strap with a buckle. Since they are more or less casual, they can be worn with a pair of jeans. Imagine having a shoe that you can wear for some formal occasions and even to casual places.

 

For those business minded type of guys, the lace-up style is usually their best choice. These shoes not only display the elegance during formal meetings, but may also give them the feeling of being in control of the situation. These shoes are best suited with tuxedo or formal attires and are used for high class social gatherings. These shoes also come in different styles and shapes. But men who opt to be formal looking usually choose those designs which do not look so cluttered, so as to give an impression of being simple and direct with their dealings.

 

Notwithstanding the said distinctions, the black loafers are a mainstay in the shoe closet of every guy because of its simplicity and ease of use. It may not be used for the back street basketball game with neighbors or jogging with the dog in the morning, but it has proved to be adaptable to most occasions or situations that a normal guy goes to. But hey, do you know that these loafers originated from the designs that Norwegian farmers used? Yes, the easy to wear shoe is what made it a hit for farmers who while walking on their pastures to check their loafing cattle, hence the term loafer. Such use became widespread in the village, and eventually in the whole of Europe. Such versatility and low profile feature are enough to satisfy the taste of men from then until now.

 

So the next time you see the guy down the street that you have been eyeing for quite some time now but does not have the opportunity to know his personal dealings or even get close to him, you might actually want to consider looking at his black loafers. Who knows, maybe the answer just lies in the shoes that he is wearing.
